The Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis, also referred to as "Saint Kitts and Nevis", is located at the northern part of Leeward Islands of the East Caribbean Sea and now is a member country of the British Commonwealth. It was independent on September 19, 1983. Saint Kitts and Nevis belongs to the tropical marine climate, and has an average temperature of 26℃. Residents here mostly believe in Christianity. English serves as its official language and common language.
The Saint Kitts and Nevis Citizenship Program was established in 1984, and thus it becomes one of the earliest countries issuing passports in the world.
